So, I started where most people do, in the trenches as a paraplanner, then junior advisor, advisor and eventually a Partner at a Multi-Family Office. Over all these years, I learned not only what clients were seeking, but how advisors found the resources to help clients through complex financial conversations.
During that time, I earned a Masters of Taxation, which strengthened my technical foundation and broadened my understanding of the planning opportunities available to advisors. Then, after selling my practice, I experienced a shift. I realized that the work that energized me most was not only sitting across from clients but supporting the advisors who carry those conversations every day. That realization led me deeper into the heart of the industry rather than away from it.
Today, as Director of Advisory Services at Trek, I have the privilege of working alongside advisors who care deeply about their clients and who want to strengthen the way they operate. Together we navigate the practical realities of running a business and the challenges that come with it.
Over the years, I have come to see beyond the plans themselves and into the relationships that give them meaning. Supporting advisors and their teams as they build trust and guide clients through significant life decisions is work I value every day.
Watching advisors move forward as more intentional business owners remains one of the most rewarding parts of my career.
